Plain-language terms for subseq.bio. Effective June 2026. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

Use of Service

Configure jobs responsibly; avoid abusive uploads or intentionally wasteful runs.
Results can vary; correct configuration is your responsibility.
You own your uploads and job outputs. We claim no ownership of them, and you may use outputs for any purpose, including commercial use, without restrictions from us.
Unless separately agreed in writing, the service is for research and computational work, not clinical diagnosis, treatment decisions, or regulated medical use.

We store account, billing, usage, job, dataset, and request data needed to operate, secure, support, improve, and bill for the service.
We do not sell your email, job data, or datasets. We share data only as needed to operate the service, process payments, support requested features, comply with law, or follow your direction.
We keep job data and datasets so you can access prior work. If you want account or stored data deleted, email support@subseq.bio; we’ll handle reasonable deletion requests unless we must retain data for billing, security, compliance, backups, or abuse prevention.

Compute credit purchases are final and non-refundable, except at our sole discretion.
Job-level credit refunds may still apply where described in pricing or where we decide a service issue justifies one.
Charges are based on the work you submit; please review settings before running jobs.

The service and outputs are provided “as is,” without any warranty.
We are not liable for losses, damages, or dissatisfaction arising from use of the service.

Only upload data you’re allowed to use, and ensure your use of subseq.bio complies with applicable laws and agreements.
Do not upload protected health information, patient-identifiable data, or regulated clinical material unless we have a separate written agreement allowing it.
Do not upload illegal, abusive, or otherwise prohibited material.

We may update these terms. We’ll notify you of important changes, and continued use means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by Texas law where permitted.
